Dr. Isabella Schweitzer
As a general practitioner, I am your long-term partner for all health-related issues – from preventative care to the treatment of chronic diseases. By knowing your medical history, I can provide you with personalized advice and help you identify and avoid health risks early on.
In addition to prevention, a particular focus of my work is holistic care and open-ended education – even on controversial topics. One thing is particularly important to me: your personal decision. I will inform you and support you in your decision-making process – but the decision is yours.
I look forward to getting to know you and working with you to take care of your health.
This is how I work
At the beginning of our initial consultation, I'll take the time to work with you to explore the various aspects of your problem. For me, this primarily means listening and asking specific questions.
This is followed by a thorough physical examination, which can provide initial clues to the cause of your symptoms or rule out serious illnesses.
Depending on the findings, further diagnostics – laboratory or instrumental – are carried out, for which a wide range of options are available at MEINE.Klinik.
Once the diagnosis is confirmed, I will suggest a course of treatment. If necessary, I will recommend consulting with various specialists and, together with them, recommend the best possible treatment. I will coordinate the entire treatment and follow-up care in close collaboration with the specialists and will be available to answer any questions or address any problems at short notice.
About me
After graduating from high school in Bonn, I completed my medical studies in Münster. I then continued my training in various fields of medicine. During my residency, I worked at the Department of Internal Medicine in Neuwied and Mayen, at a psychiatric clinic in Andernach, and at a rehabilitation clinic in Burgbrohl. I worked as a general practitioner in Bendorf and Bonn.
This diversity of activities has sharpened my perspective on the human being as a whole. I am delighted to be able to contribute my experience to MEINE.Klinik.
I chose to work at MEINE.Klinik because I was attracted to the idea of integrating different specialist departments into a shared care center. Here, if desired by the patient, close interdisciplinary communication can take place to identify and treat both physical and mental aspects of illnesses.
For us, the focus is not just on the diagnosis, but on you as a person—with your questions, needs, and decisions. I look forward to meeting you.
